As a scriptwriter you can never read too many scripts. Shahram Pourhassan thinks of reading scripts as study time, and scriptwriting as the actual work. Shahram Pourhassan has shown he was destined for a successful life from a very young age. Shahram earned a M.A. His academics began with studying computer science and computer information systems, but knew he had a love and passion for writing. Shahram got his second BA in scriptwriting from California State University Northridge. He recently attended California State University Los Angeles, earning his masters in fine arts in Scriptwriting. He received an award for best feature screenplay in Wild in Alaska at Cal State Fullerton’s 2006 TVFS Awards. The script was sent to Gale Anne Hurd’s production company.
Shahram Pourhassan is interested in script and story writing for film, television, and theater. Aside from writing for a wide range of venues, he enjoys exploring and writing in multiple genres, including horror, action/adventure, drama, biographies/creative non-fiction, and more. Shahram hopes to utilize his education and share his experience and writing ability with others who bring sincere passion to the craft of telling stories.
